HPPC: New investment perspective for “Xenia Kalentzi”
Long-term lease of the property through an electronic tender, under the revival program of the historic Xenia hotels
Another historic Xenia hotel acquires a new development perspective, as the Public Properties Company (HPPC), a subsidiary of the Hellenic Growth Fund, launches an open tender via electronic auction (e-auction) for the long-term lease of “Xenia Kalentzi”, in Achaia.
The property is a former guesthouse with a total area of 1,431.15 sq.m. and a capacity of 22 rooms, located on a plot of 8,666 sq.m. The launch of this tender paves the way for the reactivation of the property, aiming to attract investments and generate new economic value for the wider region.
The tender will be conducted through the electronic www.e-publicrealestate.gr, where interested parties can register, find information about the process and obtain the General and Special Terms of the Tender.
The deadline for submitting the Participation Documents File is Thursday, February 25, 2027.
With the launch of this new tender, HPPC continues to activate the historic Xenia portfolio, creating new investment opportunities and growth prospects for local economies. The company’s strategy focuses on reviving the former “Xenia” hotels and reintegrating them into the country’s tourism and development map. HPPC aims to transform properties with significant historic and architectural identity into modern investment opportunities, combining the protection of their heritage with sustainable development and the reinforcement of local economies.
Since the beginning of 2026, the company has accelerated the maturation and utilization processes of these properties, with eight Xenia hotels currently undergoing a tender process or under a new lease agreement. Indicatively, HPPC has launched new tenders for Xenia Vytina, Xenia Komotini (where a highest bidder has been declared), Xenia Kozani and Xenia Kalentzi. Furthermore, lease agreements have been signed for Xenia Ouranoupoli and Xenia Karteros, alongside concession lease agreements for Xenia Andros with the Municipality of Andros and Xenia Mytilene with the University of the Aegean.
