The Company highlights cultural heritage through the development of historic properties

The Hellenic Public Properties Company (HPPC), a subsidiary of the Growthfund, within the framework of its strategy to develop its portfolio with respect to the country’s historical and cultural heritage, announces the launch of an open electronic tender process (e-auction), through the platform www.e-publicrealestate.gr, for the lease of the “Brunetti Residence” property in the city of Kos.

The property, registered under Asset Code (ABK) 19 and known as “Brunetti Residence”, is a listed monument of significant architectural and morphological value, representing a characteristic example of Italian interwar architecture and an important testament to the island’s history. It was constructed in 1936, during the Italian administration of the Dodecanese, as the residence of the Italian official and physician Alessandro-Antonio Brunetti. It was later used by the 80th Higher Military Command of National Guard Battalions (80 ADTE).

The property is located within the urban fabric of Kos, in a prime seafront location at the junction of Themistokleous Street and Akti Kountourioti.

The two-storey building, with a total surface area of approximately 420 sq.m., is situated on a plot of 1,045 sq.m. and comprises a ground floor, first and second floors, a small basement and auxiliary spaces. The permitted use is general residential use, while the tender concerns a lease of sixteen (16) years, with an option for an additional eight (8) years. The starting price is set at €17,300.

Through this initiative, HPPC demonstrates its dual role, contributing to economic growth by attracting investment and to the preservation of the cultural identity of the regions in which its properties are located.
