Fanari Komotini camping site is a modern 4* summer destination for families with children but also for younger vacationers, camping enthusiasts.
It is built on a green area of 169,000 square meters, with welcoming shadows and upgraded facilities. At the same time, it is located in front of a spotless beach with crystal clear waters, which is cleaned every year with modern machinery and in 2021, for the 6th consecutive year, it was awarded a blue flag by the GNTO.
The camping facilities, with the support of HPPC have been renovated and provide campers with all the comfort and safety they need to enjoy the unique natural landscape, as the campsite is located next to the Xirolimni lagoon and the wider area is part of the NATURA network of protected areas.
The unit has a restaurant-cafe-bar in a beautiful environment with a natural lawn, kitchens, laundry facilities, stores, medical office and storage areas, while the design of infrastructures and the free storage of caravans all year round make it ideal for families that choose vacation packages for the whole summer.
The campsite is suitable for ecotourism activities and its capacity serves 540 people. It includes buildings and structures with a total constructed area of 2,876 square meters.
In order to make Fanari Komotini Camping an attraction for domestic and foreign visitors, along with fans of camping, HPPC has implemented in recent years a series of targeted projects and interventions to renovate and modernize the site, utilizing financial resources from the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF).
